As a psychologist and an author, Susan Apollon empowers and heals the body, mind, and soul; as an educator, she informs; as a speaker, she inspires and touches the heart.

For more than 25 years, Susan has been in private practice in Yardley, PA, evaluating and counseling adults, families, and children who are dealing with difficult life situations similar to what she has personally experienced, researched, and written about, including cancer, other health issues, trauma, and grief.

Doctors, including pediatricians, psychiatrists, oncologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, obstetricians, and gynecologists—as well as nurses, hospitals, wellness centers, schools, and fellow colleagues—refer patients to Susan who are dealing with life-threatening illnesses, grief, trauma, anxiety, stress, and depression.

Susan is a school psychologist certified in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania who enjoys working with children of all ages, especially younger children who love working and playing in her office playroom.

She integrates tools, techniques, and strategies she has created and adapted to assist her patients in reclaiming their natural-born gifts, including their intuitive wisdom, so that they may recognize their own healing potential.

Trained in numerous energy modalities, including Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, the Reconnection, Integrated Energy Therapy, and Intuition, Susan blends Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine into her psychotherapy with her patients.

She is an avid researcher of Mind, Consciousness, Intuition, Energy, Prayer, and Healing and brings this expertise to her three published books—Touched by the Extraordinary, Book Two: Healing Stories of Love, Loss, & Hope; Touched by the Extraordinary: An Intuitive Psychologist Shares Insights, Lessons, and True Stories of Spirit and Love to Transform and Heal the Soul; and Intuition Is Easy and Fun: The Art and Practice of Developing Your Natural-Born Gift of Intuition (co-authored with Yanni Maniates) —as well as to her audio books, online course, CDs, and MP3s. All convey her knowledge of what is needed to heal mind, body, and soul. She understands the process of healing and enjoys sharing it with others. Susan’s work is scientifically based and enhanced by her ability to trust her own intuitive wisdom.

In addition to her training and experience, she brings to her work her contagious enthusiasm, compassion, and love for helping everyone heal by teaching them how to reclaim their inherent power and ability to live in joy and peace.

Susan comes from a family of physicians, which includes her husband, father, brothers, aunt and uncles, daughter, and cousins. Healing and medicine are a part of her lineage.

She integrates the gifts and challenges of having lived more than 65 years with the joy and satisfaction of being married for more than 44 years to her husband, Warren, a practicing orthodontist, along with the role of being mom to her two adult children, Rebecca, an Emergency Medicine physician, and her son, David, a Management Consultant.

Time with her family, friends, and pets is what Susan treasures most, along with time to relax by being out in nature as well as playing a tune or two on the piano.
